When the summer sun falls softly on my skin, 
I feel the warmth from deep within. 
Golden light seeps gently into my bones,
And makes my body feel like home. 

My aches and pains slip away, 
And I hold a smile throughout the day. 
My skin is kissed with sunlight, warm and bright
And everything around me feels just right. 

Beneath the sun I slow my pace, 
And focus on this time and space. 
The soft  breeze whispering through the trees, 
And fluffy clouds that float with ease.
These are things I sometimes hurry by.

I feel more energy, more room to breathe,
More joy in all the things I see. 
I feel so light, yet grounded too,
As if the sun has made me new. 

On sunshine days I feel golden and free
And I love those days when the sun reminds me how to be.
